The Girls on the Run 5K race again was attended by several of our 5th and 6th grade girls. It was a cool, but beautiful day for a run. The girls practiced for many weeks to be ready for the day. Girls on the Run is a national organization that aspires to help girls build their self-confidence and decision making skills. Although the the title of the organization may say “Girls,” many boys and families also attended. It was a great day.
