In August families came together to help community members and the Philadelphia Horticultural Society’s Tree Program get a space ready to plant trees. The trees finally arrived! Six new Maple and Cherry Blossom trees were planted. Many people showed up to help including teachers, parents, staff, and members of the horticultural society. Even the local fire department pitched in to help us water the trees. We can’t wait to see them grow and provide shade in the summer time!
