This was an exciting year for Lego League! The judges awarded our team the “Engineering Excellence Award!” The judges were impressed with the way the team integrated 3 different robot engineering ideas from different sets of team members to come up with one very functional design. The team worked very hard this year. They met twice a week for three months to prepare for the competition. Last year, the team one “Most Promising Award.” It looks like this year, the work paid off!

This season, the theme for the Lego Competition was energy efficiency. Students learned about renewable and reusable sources of energy. The missions focused on these sources, such as construction of a windmill and a dinosaur that represetne d fossil fuels!
