Key joined the Philly Parks and Recreation for this year’s Arbor Day Celebration. It took place on Friday April 25th at Mifflin Square from 10AM-12PM. The event was in partnership with our friends at SEAMAAC and the Friends of the Park group.
The event featured the official city proclamation, marking Philadelphia’s 49th consecutive designation as a Tree City USA—one of the longest-running Tree City designations in the country.
Attendees also participated in a tree-planting ceremony, interactive eco-friendly activities, and discussions on urban forestry and sustainability. A Parks & Rec Environmental Educator also hosted an activity in honor of the holiday!
